The Society of Actuaries sponsored a report summarizing the research phase of a multi-phase project leading to the creation of the Thinking Ahead Roadmap, a toolkit to help people plan for changes in financial capacity and decision-making. The report summarizes findings from interviews with professionals and focus groups with diverse older adults to identify stumbling blocks in the advancing planning process and how to help people through the steps.
